    The factory has machining centers with four- and five- axis machining, simultaneously. The main focus is the processing of small-medium-sized parts with high complexity. The wide and high-quality range of machines, combined with professional knowledge and extensive familiarity with types of technologies makes the company a precision machining leader, while addressing a wide range of raw materials.

    Engraving

    The factory has engraving machines ranging from 3- to 9-axes. All the factory’s machines include a spot for milling heads, which addresses a wider variety of parts. Manufacturing of parts is available in diameters ranging from 1 mm to 400 mm. This enables to manufacture finished parts in a single mounting.

    Erosion

    The Erosion Department includes two wire-cutting machines with a standard cutting height of X=400, Y=250, Z=200. Also, the wire-cutting is made with a standard diameter of 0.25 mm and a minimum diameter of 0.1 mm. The use of wire-cutting can help reaching accuracies of up to 0.003 mm. In addition, our sputtering machine with a cutting height of X=250, Y=350, Z=350 provides solutions to creating non-passing geometric hollows, such as hex head, blind holes, blind truncation, screw thread of tempered or particularly hard materials etc.

    Control and Quality Assurance

    The factory includes a control laboratory operated by an engineer. The laboratory is equipped with the necessary means to ensure quality control by using state-of-the-art equipment. Karmor uses “DEA” XYZ CMM automated measuring machine, which allows precision of 0.003 mm, and a computerized comparator allowing precision of 0.0015 mm. In addition, we have digital altimeters, gauges and "TESA" micrometers of all types and sizes, screw gauges, pins and gauges. All sets are calibrated regularly by the body in charge.

    Planning

    Our Planning Department includes engineers with a vast experience in precision machining and CADM software (Cimatron and Gibbs). The Engineering Department offers the ability to design and develop products based on client specifications, using advanced engineering tools, and the highest quality production available. Main responsibilities of the Engineering Department are: • Projects - from prototypes design to manufacturing serial products • Planning for auxiliary (mounting) facilities for manufacturing and testing and running facilities for complexes • Strict adherence to schedules • Achieving goals and objectives for customer satisfaction

    Conventional Department

    The department is mainly engaged in producing models, prototypes and small series.

    Finishes

    The department is mainly engaged in reducing raw material residues from the finished part, rounding sharp corners, removing oils and fats and adjusting for packaging. It is important to note that packaging is an integral part of this process, since it provides the products with protection. Thus, the parts are supplied to the customer in a double package; each part is packaged individually in a sealed plastic bag and placed in a cardboard box for shipping.

    Assembling

    The department is engaged in assembling and mounting parts manufactured in Karmor and sent to the customer as a whole complex. The advantage is that each complex can be checked for propriety and integrity to the smallest detail, in real time, prior to shipment.
