AS9100:D - Quality Management System of Aviation, Aerospace and Defense;

Aerospace and defense (air, sea and land) manufacturers in Israel and abroad, require suppliers and subcontractors to certify the quality system in accordance with specific requirements of this industry.
This is contractual requirement that is suitable for manufacturers of aerospace and defense products, complexes and cards, for hardware or software developers and for organizations performing integration or maintenance.

AS9100D:2016 standard was prepared by an international body (SAE Aerospace) sponsored by the IAQG - the umbrella organization of the aviation industry, which includes leading companies, such as Boeing Gulfstream, Lockheed Martin, Honeywell, GE, MTU, Airbus and others. Certification according to the standard incorporates the requirements of ISO 9001 and other (legislative and aviation) requirements. In addition, other standards were prescribed, relating to matters such as: evaluation, changing of key properties, risk management of supply chain and others (AS9103, AS9115, and AS9110). Recognition of the Israel Standards Institute of adjusting quality management system in the aviation industry (under the requirements of AS9100D:2016) demonstrates that the organization has taken all necessary steps to fulfill its commitment for quality products.
